Moon Anomalies: Giant Lunar Towers
There is growing evidence that, contrary to what we have been told, the US landed on the moon only to find that someone else had got there before them. This evidence may be disturbing to many, because it implies that a civilization, or civilizations, more advanced than our own has built enormous structures on the moon. This evidence comes not from some remote planet like Mars but from the Moon right above our heads.

In 1997 American researcher, Steven Wingate, discovered an anomaly in NASA image AS16-121-19407(H) shown below. The apparent structure looks like a huge tower standing at the rim of the Lobachevski crater on the ‘dark’ side of the moon. A distinct shadow cast by the structure is clearly visible on its right hand side.

More recently a probe launched by the European Space Agency (ESA) has also photographed a massive tower-like object on the inside perimeter of a crater on the far side of the moon. As shown below, the shadow cast by the structure is clearly visible on the left hand side. This image, taken by the advanced Moon Imaging Experiment (AMIE) on board ESA’s SMART-1 spacecraft, shows crater Lomonosov. AMIE obtained the image on the 30th January 2006 with a ground resolution of 190 metres per pixel. The imaged area is centred at a latitude of 27.8º North and a longitude of 98.6º East [AMI-EAE3-001856-00042-00038].

The Apollo 10 lunar orbiter photograph AS10-32-4822 and the three sequential photographs AS10-32-4854 - 56 all show two massively tall structures known as the "Tower" and the "Shard" in the southwestern area of Sinus Medii from different angles and different perspectives.
The Shard
The Shard is a structure which towers above the Moon's surface by more than a mile. Its overall irregular spindly shape, with constricted nodes and swollen inter-nodes, looks anything but natural. No known natural process can explain the presence of such a structure. Computer enhancement shows an irregular outline with more reflective and less reflective surfaces. The amount of sunlight reflecting from parts of the Shard indicates a composition consistent with crystal, glass or polished metal. Single crystals the size of city blocks are currently unknown. The Shard may be an eroded remnant of an artificial structure made of glass-like material.
The Tower
The Tower is even more massive than the Shard soaring to more than five miles above the surface of the Moon. It has been photographed from five different angles and two different altitudes (from 30 miles altitude, and from 70 miles altitude at three different distances). In all four photographs the same structure is visible and can be viewed from two different sides. The Tower exists in front of and to the left of the Shard in the Lunar Orbiter III-84M photograph. The distance from the Tower and the camera is estimated at about 200 miles, while the distance of the Shard beyond the Tower is estimated at about 230 miles. The top of the Tower has a very ordered cubic geometry, and appears to be composed of regular cubes (similar in size) joined together to form a very large cube with an estimated width of over one mile. There is apparent damage to the outline and surface of this structure. A narrow columnar structure appears to connect this cube with the surface of the Moon. The columnar support is at least three miles in height.
Six mysterious statuesque towers
Photographs of strange surface anomalies made the front page of a November 1966 edition of The Washington Post. NASA Lunar Orbiter 2 had photographed what appeared to be six or seven towers, arranged in a specific geometric pattern, in the Mare Tranquilis region of the moon. Their pointed shadows indicated that they were either conical or pyramid-shaped. One of the apparent towers measured over 200 metres in height. NASA countered that the photographs did not show anything of any interest… whatsoever. The Russian magazine Argosy published comments made by Russian space scientist Alexander Abromov. He stated that the Russian Luna 9 probe had, on landing on the Moon on the 4th February 1966, taken some strange looking photographs: structures that stood in the landscape in a distinct pattern. The tops of the structures appeared to have a profile similar to a pyramidion.
More lunar towers
Looking at the old Apollo photographs and more recent pictures taken by satellite, ink spots and blurs can frequently be seen. NASA and the US air force censors have carefully inspected every single photograph and have blurred some areas while applying black ink to others. What are they trying to hide?
Technology has moved on since the days of the Apollo missions. Computers and their software are now vastly more sophisticated. Features that were not evident on lunar photographs released to the public in the 1960s and 1970’s, and thus missed by the censors, can now be discerned using modern image analysis software. Detailed analysis of photographs released by NASA has revealed evidence of what appear to be ruins and artificial constructions of various types.
Numerous massive towers have been discovered on the lunar surface. Below is an attempt by the NASA censors to smudge out one of these towers from an Apollo photograph.

Attempts to conceal the towers may not have always been successful. As can be seen in the photograph below, a massive tower is clearly visible on an old NASA photograph enhanced using modern image processing technology. Many such photographs were taken out of the windows of orbiting NASA spacecraft at different angles and altitudes. The absence of shadow in the picture below could be explained by the sun being more or less overhead at the time of photographing.

An investigator of lunar anomalies, Joseph P. Skipper, has carried out extensive searches of the Clementine photograph data base. He has come up with some very clear examples of attempts by censors to blur out images that look like massive towers. Conclusions
So what are the implications of the growling list of lunar anomalies that appear to be buildings and towers? Are these artificial constructions active or long abandoned? Who built them – men or aliens?
Why have the Americans kept quiet about these structures for so long? The most likely reason is that they still do not know what they are. Conventional archaeology does not allow for an ancient human super civilisation that was capable of space flight. The experts at NASA and the US military will therefore assume that what they have discovered on the moon is incontrovertible evidence that we are not alone in the universe – that an advanced alien intelligence is far closer to us than we ever dared to imagine.

Structures on the moon and Mars are a fact of the universe.
NASA and the government think we can not handle these and other truths. It is 2009 not 1949 and the people deserve the
truths and can handle them quite well.
I don't think so. Most people are panicky idiots. You and I might be able to handle it, but the whole of the population can't. Which is sad because it's painfully obvious there's intelligent life other than on Earth.
Actually I don't know that NASA and the government are all that concerned with how the people would be able to handle the information. More than likely, if NASA or any other government agency actually knew of the existence of intelligent aliens, they would probably keep that knowledge to themselves for their own benefit. For instance, it may be that they have some sort of agreement with the aliens that grants them access to special privileges or technologies. By keeping the presence of the aliens a secret, they would be able reap all the benefits of the special privileges or technologies themselves.
It's sort of like the proverbial guy who figured out how to make fire. If he didn't share his knowledge, then he would have been able to take advantage of his special skill and reap all the benefits of it. More than likely, if the government does have an agreement with some aliens, they aren't interested in sharing their advantages with everyone. They are motivated by selfishness, not concern.
If I were an alien visiting a world teeming with promising life, I might want to observe it for a while and to leave information where it could not be harmed and the natives had shown themselves advanced enough to use what was there. I might also want to establish bases for return observations. Establish contact? I think they might feel rather like the Chinese Emperor that if the barbarians are not advanced enough to come of their own accord, we have nothing worth saying to each other.
What if: The moon is a machine -- a lifeboat and "ark." It's hollow and "rings like a bell" when struck by space probes. It's the ideal space ship for transporting a large populations of dangerous outcasts (like humans) around the galaxy. It's huge, with mineral resources capable of sustained life-support and generating great power over long periods; and because of its uninteresting appearance, it's able to through galaxies without attracting attention from hostile forces. At 2,160 miles in diameter (6 x 6 x 6 in units of 10 miles),it's 108 times its own diameter from the earth -- as is the sun, an impossible ratio, which enables us to have statistically impossible total solar eclipses -- and that's what made astronomical confirmation of Einstein's theory of relativity possible. Also, despite a number of theories trying to explain its presence above us, the moon is not supposed to be there -- and yet it makes life possible on earth by providing the ocean tides necessary for plankton survival. The moon brought our ancestors to earth, and it will take our refugees somewhere else when the forces hunting us find us. Sounds like a plot for a great sci-fi novel -- or maybe it's the truth. :)
Amazing thought Roscoe! I do really believe we´re not alone, and wouldn´t be surprised if we would find out that "aliens" are humans in such a level of evolution lightyears ahead of us, that would be able to explore the mind in a very unknown way. We have many constructions all over the Earth that it´s hard to explain how they could have been built thousand of years ago, without the aparatus available today. Are we able to face the truth, even if we´re not ready yet?
If the sun is directly overhead in the last "digitally enhanced" photograph, then why are the craters casting shadows to the left? If the sun were directly overhead, you would be able to see the bottoms of the craters. Ergo, the photo has definitely had some "touchups" -- to add the anal bead tower thingy.
Come on guys! A hollow moon? Do you know how stupid that sounds? The FACT that we have tides proves the moon is WAY too massive to be hollow. I think maybe a few heads here are hollow though.
Very interesting comments here. I do believe there's more than us. More than just other intelligent life. I believe our science AND religions are ALL part of a BIGGER EQUATION. You cannot have one without the other. The religion gives science a need to explore for answers. The science is needed to solidify/justify the religion. If you really do your "homework" and study up on some science and religions, you'll find that there is a coherency between them. Science is now answering some of Religions oldest, unanswered questions. There's a theory that "Heaven" may actually be a REAL place in our universe!!! Possibly some 541 light years away. Not sure about the legitimacy of that one (cool thought though), but I've seen how science is now able to prove what our oldest cultures knew and how some of our greatest technological mysteries can be answered. I think there's a WAY BIGGER picture that we are just now starting see through clues left behind by our ancestors. Look up HD/Torsion physics. It's a new science that's being more or less "hidden" or denied by mainstream science and media. In reality, it proves that Einstein had actually created/figured out THE UNIFIED FIELD THEORY back in the 50's!!!! Problem was that no one knew how to understand it or what it ment(or maybe they did) and thus it was labeled as "unfinished". HD/Torsion Physics answers those weird anomalies that current science can't explain. Theory stands that utilizing this science, you could create a field in which an object within that field would "weigh less" or more plainly, is dramatically less affected by the forces gravity. With this new perspective, the Egyptian Pyramids seem rather simplistic to build and could have been done by as little as one man. Theoretically, a child could have built them if he had the right tools. Sounds odd/crazy, yes I know. I said the same thing :) Then I did a little research after I had an interesting conversation with a few good friends. Well, that little research has turned into many years of answering questions, and at the same time finding more questions to be answered. All I know is that we are living in some exciting times and I am anxiously awaiting to see the results.
If you must know Mr. "Anonymous"- last one- you gave us food for thought (at least for me!). I´m glad that little by little we find people that may have a ponit of view.
