Moon Anomalies: Giant Lunar Towers

There is growing evidence that, contrary to what we have been told, the US landed on the moon only to find that someone else had got there before them. This evidence may be disturbing to many, because it implies that a civilization, or civilizations, more advanced than our own has built enormous structures on the moon. This evidence comes not from some remote planet like Mars but from the Moon right above our heads.

In 1997 American researcher, Steven Wingate, discovered an anomaly in NASA image AS16-121-19407(H) shown below. The apparent structure looks like a huge tower standing at the rim of the Lobachevski crater on the ‘dark’ side of the moon. A distinct shadow cast by the structure is clearly visible on its right hand side.

More recently a probe launched by the European Space Agency (ESA) has also photographed a massive tower-like object on the inside perimeter of a crater on the far side of the moon. As shown below, the shadow cast by the structure is clearly visible on the left hand side. This image, taken by the advanced Moon Imaging Experiment (AMIE) on board ESA’s SMART-1 spacecraft, shows crater Lomonosov. AMIE obtained the image on the 30th January 2006 with a ground resolution of 190 metres per pixel. The imaged area is centred at a latitude of 27.8º North and a longitude of 98.6º East [AMI-EAE3-001856-00042-00038].

The Apollo 10 lunar orbiter photograph AS10-32-4822 and the three sequential photographs AS10-32-4854 - 56 all show two massively tall structures known as the "Tower" and the "Shard" in the southwestern area of Sinus Medii from different angles and different perspectives.

The Shard

The Shard is a structure which towers above the Moon's surface by more than a mile. Its overall irregular spindly shape, with constricted nodes and swollen inter-nodes, looks anything but natural. No known natural process can explain the presence of such a structure. Computer enhancement shows an irregular outline with more reflective and less reflective surfaces. The amount of sunlight reflecting from parts of the Shard indicates a composition consistent with crystal, glass or polished metal. Single crystals the size of city blocks are currently unknown. The Shard may be an eroded remnant of an artificial structure made of glass-like material.

The Tower

The Tower is even more massive than the Shard soaring to more than five miles above the surface of the Moon. It has been photographed from five different angles and two different altitudes (from 30 miles altitude, and from 70 miles altitude at three different distances). In all four photographs the same structure is visible and can be viewed from two different sides. The Tower exists in front of and to the left of the Shard in the Lunar Orbiter III-84M photograph. The distance from the Tower and the camera is estimated at about 200 miles, while the distance of the Shard beyond the Tower is estimated at about 230 miles. The top of the Tower has a very ordered cubic geometry, and appears to be composed of regular cubes (similar in size) joined together to form a very large cube with an estimated width of over one mile. There is apparent damage to the outline and surface of this structure. A narrow columnar structure appears to connect this cube with the surface of the Moon. The columnar support is at least three miles in height.

Six mysterious statuesque towers

Photographs of strange surface anomalies made the front page of a November 1966 edition of The Washington Post. NASA Lunar Orbiter 2 had photographed what appeared to be six or seven towers, arranged in a specific geometric pattern, in the Mare Tranquilis region of the moon. Their pointed shadows indicated that they were either conical or pyramid-shaped. One of the apparent towers measured over 200 metres in height. NASA countered that the photographs did not show anything of any interest… whatsoever. The Russian magazine Argosy published comments made by Russian space scientist Alexander Abromov. He stated that the Russian Luna 9 probe had, on landing on the Moon on the 4th February 1966, taken some strange looking photographs: structures that stood in the landscape in a distinct pattern. The tops of the structures appeared to have a profile similar to a pyramidion.

More lunar towers

Looking at the old Apollo photographs and more recent pictures taken by satellite, ink spots and blurs can frequently be seen. NASA and the US air force censors have carefully inspected every single photograph and have blurred some areas while applying black ink to others. What are they trying to hide?

Numerous massive towers have been discovered on the lunar surface. Below is an attempt by the NASA censors to smudge out one of these towers from an Apollo photograph.

Image smudging to conceal a tower?

Attempts to conceal the towers may not have always been successful. As can be seen in the photograph below, a massive tower is clearly visible on an old NASA photograph enhanced using modern image processing technology. Many such photographs were taken out of the windows of orbiting NASA spacecraft at different angles and altitudes. The absence of shadow in the picture below could be explained by the sun being more or less overhead at the time of photographing.

An investigator of lunar anomalies, Joseph P. Skipper, has carried out extensive searches of the Clementine photograph data base. He has come up with some very clear examples of attempts by censors to blur out images that look like massive towers. Conclusions

So what are the implications of the growling list of lunar anomalies that appear to be buildings and towers? Are these artificial constructions active or long abandoned? Who built them – men or aliens?

Why have the Americans kept quiet about these structures for so long? The most likely reason is that they still do not know what they are. Conventional archaeology does not allow for an ancient human super civilisation that was capable of space flight. The experts at NASA and the US military will therefore assume that what they have discovered on the moon is incontrovertible evidence that we are not alone in the universe – that an advanced alien intelligence is far closer to us than we ever dared to imagine.

Moon Anomalies: Indian Chandrayaan Images

Recently, China unveiled a three-dimensional map of the lunar surface with data from its Chang’e-1 mission, while Japan has released some imagery from its lunar orbiter, Kaguya, including the landing site of the Apollo 17 spacecraft. However, photographs taken by India’s Chandrayaan (Sanskrit for moon-vehicle) lunar orbiter are superior, due to higher resolution cameras and a lower orbit height of 100 km. The Terrain Mapping Camera (TMC) is one of the key payloads on the Indian orbiter. The TMC has been mapping the lunar surface, at a resolution of five metres, through lenses capable of capturing images at three angles simultaneously. The Chinese camera is three-dimensional but only has a resolution of 200 metres, and the Japanese camera has 10 metre resolution.

India is one of only three nations currently with active lunar orbiters. Chandrayaan-1 will remain in orbit for two years from launch in order to conduct a comprehensive geological survey of the lunar surface. While Chandrayaan traverses the circumference of the moon approximately twelve times each day, the camera is operational for two to three orbits. During the 20 minute photographing in each orbit, the TMC captures images over an area of 1,700 km in length and 20 km in width. Chandrayaan-1 has transmitted tens of thousands of images of different types since its launch on October 22, 2008. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) now holds a massive data base regarding the moon’s surface and craters.

There is convincing evidence that both NASA and the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) has censored or altered satellite imagery, pointing to the existence of artificial structures and artefacts on the lunar surface.

Perhaps we are finally close to some real disclosure now - if for no other reason than that there are growing numbers of international probes orbiting the lunar surface. The Indian Vedas and other ancient texts preserve details that point to an ancient, highly advanced civilization that existed during the last ice age - when the Moon (and possibly other bodies in the solar system) were once inhabited. On Earth this civilisation was swept away by catastrophic changes in climate and sea level. But on the moon buildings would survive for tens of thousands of years, untouched by earthquakes, volcanoes and giant tidal waves. If there is to be revelation of the discovery of ancient structures on the moon, then there could be no more fitting a nation than India - descendants of the mighty Rama Empire – to bring the astounding truth to the world.

I place the images here as a taster, for hopefully amazing photographs that will eventually come from the current lunar missions.

Moon Anomalies: Structures on the Dark Side of the Moon

There is compelling evidence of massive artificial structures on the dark side of the moon. In 1994, the US Navy sent the Clementine satellite to the moon on a two month mapping mission. During that time, the satellite took 1.8 million photographs. Out of these images, only 170,000 have been made available to the public. The remaining photographs are classified. Why classify images of a supposedly barren lunar surface?

Within the available photographs, there are numerous images of what appear to be massive artificial structures, blotted out by ham-fisted censors. The shapes of many of these structures remain clearly visible. The enormous size of these structures, some over a mile in length, indicates that they must have been built by a civilisation considerably more advanced than our own. Some think that aliens have built these structures, but there is no definitive proof. An alternative explanation could be that they were built by humans – by a super civilization that vanished from the face of the earth more than 10,000 years ago.

Discovery of these lunar structures is nothing short of momentous - So why the obvious cover-up? It seems that it is not just the US and the Russians who is involved in this now. What has happened to all the lunar photographs that we were promised by the Chinese? Relatively few have been released to the public - And what about the Japanese and European moon mapping missions? Again, relatively few images can be accessed by the public. It will be interesting to see what the Indians do with their lunar images – but don’t hold your breath. It is becoming increasingly obvious that world governments are trying to keep a lid on this – WHY? The obvious reason would be that the powers-that-be accept text book archaeology. ‘Experts’ consider the existence of an ancient super civilization, before the ending of the last Ice Age, to be a myth. Therefore, the obvious reasoning would be that any artificial structures on the moon must be of alien origin – and that the world is not ready for solid evidence of an alien civilisation so close to home.

Below are photographs of the lunar surface that come from the Clementine and European Space Agency (ESA) files. Most of these images have been censored. Massive structures have been smudged in an attempt to hide them. However, their overall shape is still visible and in some photographs parts of the structures are still visible.

Lunar Anomalies: Ukert Crater

Ukert is a lunar impact crater situated between Mare Vaporum to the north and Sinus Medii in the south. The outer rim of this crater is not quite circular, with outward bulges to the north and the east. Ukert is a very unusual crater in that it displays a circumscribed equilateral triangle in its center at full Moon. This triangle may not be natural, because the sides of the crater are much brighter only opposite the sides of the triangle. In addition, the brightest parts of the rim are midway between the apices of the triangle, and are at 120 degrees orientation from one another. If a line is drawn from the centers of each bright area across the triangle to the opposing angle, the lines exactly bisect each angle.

On the 2nd November 1966 The Washington Post ran a front page article entitled “Six Mysterious Statuesque Shadows Photographed on the Moon by Orbiter”. NASA Lunar Orbiter 2 had photographed an area on the moon (Mare Tranquilis) of approximately 30 by 50 kilometres. Photographs showed six or seven towers, appearing in a specific geometric pattern, rising from the lunar surface. Their pointed shadows indicated that they were either conical or pyramid-shaped. NASA countered that the photographs did not show anything of any interest. The Russian magazine, Argosy, published a communication from the Russian space scientist Alexander Abromov. He stated that the Russian Luna 9 probe, on landing on the Moon on the 4th February 1966, had taken some strange photographs of structures that stood out of the landscape in a precisely defined pattern.

An extraordinary object, in the Sinus Medii region of the Moon, was photographed on one of the Apollo lunar missions using a hand held Hasselblad camera (photo number AS10-32-4822). The structure, commonly referred to as the "Castle" is extremely bright and plainly visible at normal magnification. The photograph shows a remarkable stacking of segments that point to it being of artificial, rather than natural, construction.

The one-mile-long structure appears to be hanging some seven miles above the Lunar surface. It has been speculated that it could be the remnant of a huge glass dome. A cable appears to be passing through the tip of the structure.

Scientist and former NASA specialist, Richard Hoagland insists that there are other intriguing photographs of strange moon anomalies that are currently hidden deep inside NASA. Hoagland speculates that this information is being kept secret because NASA feels the public is not yet psychologically ready.

Moon Anomalies: The Shard

The Lunar Orbiter photograph and the three sequential photographs (NASA catalog SP-232: AS10-32-4822, AS10-32-4854, AS10-32-4855, and AS10-32-4856) taken from the Apollo 10 spacecraft show two massive anomalous structures commonly known as the Shard and the Tower. The photographs were taken in the south western area of Sinus Medii from different angles. A photograph taken by Surveyor 6 shows anomalous geometric structures extending to the north of the Tower for about a hundred miles.

The Shard towers to a height of more than one mile above the Moon's surface. No known natural process can explain the presence of such a structure. Computer enhancement of photographs shows an irregular outline. The amount of sunlight reflecting from parts of the Shard indicates a composition inconsistent with that of most natural substances. Only crystal, glass and highly polished metal can reflect light with the intensity of that emanating from the Shard. As a consequence, the Shard may be a remnant of an artificial structure, possibly an enormous glass dome.

The star-like object above the Shard is a camera registration mark. The Shard casts a shadow in a direction consistent with it being a real structure and not a photographic artefact. Blow-ups of photographs suggest a module-like internal structure. Above and behind the Shard is the Tower. This is an enormous 5 mile high structure with a central "cube" suspended by a tripod like base. Photographic enhancements of the Tower show a similar modular construction to the Shard, but with more of a hexagonal pattern.

Was the Great Pyramid the Ultimate Weapon?

A physicist named Joseph Farrell has studied the Great Pyramid in meticulous detail. He concluded that, with the use of highly sophisticated crystal technology, this pyramid may have been used as a phase conjugate howitzer. According to Farrell, the Great Pyramid could have been designed to collect, amplify and cohere energy emissions from a given target and send them back, exactly in phase harmonically with that target. A rather simplistic analogy would be opera singers using their voices to smash glasses. To do this all they have to do is produce a sound with their highly honed vocal cords that matches the fundamental harmonic vibration of the glass. The sound waves, which are both powerful and pure, cause an amplification of the glass’s natural vibratory rate causing it to violently shake itself until it cracks or disintegrates.

The amplified energies emitted by the pyramid were enormously powerful, according to Farrell, and caused violent acoustic cavitation within the nuclei of the atoms composing the enemy target until it consumed itself in a violent nuclear reaction. In effect the pyramid amplified and then reflected back upon a target a powerful energy beam; it was a ray weapon of enormous destructive power. If the weapon had been fired at a military target it would have neutralised all electronic equipment and detonated all explosive devices including nuclear bombs. It would also have directly killed every living organism, even viruses. Unlike a nuclear bomb, the weapons destructive power could be calibrated to selectively destroy both small and large targets, and there was no radioactive fallout after a strike. In many respects it was the ultimate weapon of mass destruction.

In the summer of 1997, Atlantis Rising magazine was contacted by a scientist involved in US government research into acoustical weapons. He said his team had analyzed the Great Pyramid and concluded that its builders used highly sophisticated geometries. The analysis indicated that the configuration of the chambers in the Great Pyramid could have been designed for the sophisticated manipulation of sound. The conclusion reached by the scientist and his team was that the Great Pyramid could have originally been designed as a weapon - an extremely powerful one at that.

Farrell theorized that the Great Pyramid was built by a technological advanced ancient civilization in the mist of pre-history. He speculated that the Pyramid was a phase conjugate mirror, the magic yin-yang mirror of legends. Ferrell believes that the chambers and passageways of the Great Pyramid were used as a series of loops to generate and amplify gravito-acoustical waves and direct them to their target. If Ferrell’s assumptions are correct, the Great Pyramid was the most powerful weapon ever to exist on Earth. We can only hope that, even if his theory about the Pyramid is incorrect, that such a weapon will never see the light of day on Earth. It would without question be used with devastating effect, because unlike the atomic bomb there would be no radioactive fallout. In other words, there would be no collateral radioactive damage – the major deterrent to the deployment of atomic bombs in modern warfare.

Atlantis Found

Many of the books that have been written on Atlantis speculate that it was situated in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. More recently, compelling evidence that Atlantis was located in South America has been put forward by J.M. Allen. Allen's research was shown in a documentary on the Discovery Channel. He has also published a book entitled "Atlantis, the Andes Solution".

In Plato’s writings, the city of Atlantis was said to have been built on a rectangular-shaped plane that was located at a distance of fifty stades (five miles) from the sea, and midway along the longest side of the continent. The plain was described as being high above sea level, surrounded by mountains and fed by hot and cold underground springs. Just such a plain exists in Bolivia. The plain is called the Bolivian Altiplano. It has a rectangular configuration, is enclosed by mountains and is close to the sea. The Altiplano also has hot and cold springs.

The surrounding mountains contain ores of copper, tin, silver, gold and orichalcum (an alloy of copper and gold which occurs exclusively in the Andes mountain range). Indeed Plato stated that orichalcum was used to plate the walls of the circular city of Atlantis. The name Atlantis itself is of ancient South American origin and means the city of water and copper. Plato also said that the city of Atlantis was built on a small volcanic island that was surrounded by circular belts of land and sea, some greater, some smaller; two being of land and three being of sea. Although the city has gone, remnants of the volcanic island still exist on the plain at place now called Pampa Aullagas. The island, or small mountain as it is today, is surrounded by circular depressions (belts) filled with sand, that once contained water.”

Plato wrote that Atlantis sank under the ocean in a single day and night of rainfall. Modern geologists have indicated that it is impossible for a continent to sink beneath the ocean in a single day. Indeed, there is no convincing geological evidence that a continent ever existed in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, let alone sank beneath it. But it is certainly possible for a city to disappear under the waves due to earthquakes and floods. The Bolivian Altiplano has been subjected to earthquakes and floods in the past. In ancient times Lake Poopo, which is situated close to Pampa Aullagas, was a large inland sea. This could have been the sea which inundated the city of Atlantis.

Plato mentioned a large canal which was one stade wide and ran around the plain. The canal was fed by an underground spring. There is very clear evidence of such a canal on the Altiplano. It is also fed by an underground spring.

Recent archaeological studies indicate that there was once a city on and around the volcanic mountain, but the scattered remnants indicate that it was comprehensively destroyed. The area has yet to be subjected to detailed excavation.

One of the reasons that South America has not been recognised as Atlantis is that in the early 16th century the German cartographer Waldseemuller named it America in honour of Amerigo Vespucci who sailed along its coastline as far south as the River Plate estuary. Another proposed name for the continent, when newly rediscovered, was Atlantis, put forward by the Spanish historian Francisco Lopez de Gomara in 1533. He recognised that the great continent could have been in fact the "lost" continent described by Plato. This view was supported by Sir Francis Bacon in his work New Atlantis published in 1627. Bacon stated that not only was South America Atlantis, but that Plato got one key detail wrong; the legendary city did not sink beneath the sea but was overwhelmed by a sudden rising of its waters forcing the inhabitants to abandon their city.

Does South America correspond to the description of Atlantis given by Plato? It certainly ticks a lot of the boxes:

1. The land mass is of continental size.
2. It is more or less opposite the Pillars of Hercules.
3. The plain is close to the sea.
4. The plain is an elongated rectangle.
5. The plain is enclosed by mountains.
6. The plain has a level surface.
7. The plain is high above the level of the Ocean.
8. The plain contains a volcanic island of similar size to the original volcanic island city.
9. The plain is midway along the longest side of the continent.
10. The plain has a system of canals.
11. Hot and cold springs exist on the plain.
12. The plain is prone to earthquakes.
13. The plain is prone to floods.
14. The region rises sheer out of the sea to a great height.
15. The surrounding mountains contain lakes and streams.
16. The mountains contain gold, silver, tin and copper.
17. The mountains contain a natural alloy of copper and gold (orichalcum).
18. "Atl" and "Antis" are South American words meaning "water" and "copper".
19. A flood legend of a city punished by the Gods exists among the people who live on the plain.

Ancient Structures on Mars

There is clear cut evidence of ancient artificial structures on the moon. Can the same be said for Mars? The Mariner and Viking data show a very desolate planet. Some areas are of volcanic origin. Other areas show signs that in the distant past there were massive ancient water flows.

This object below has been termed the ‘Airport-Terminal’ in many publications. It can be found in the NASA-archives with coordinates 1.9°S 186.4°W and image-ID 4209-75.

The Cydonia plain

The Cydonia Plain is a flat expanse with large and small mesas. The somewhat regular geometries of the mesas have led many to speculate that they could be of artificial construction.

The Face

In 1976, Mars probe Viking Orbiter 1 was acquiring images of the Cydonia region as part of the search for potential landing sites for Viking Lander 2. Among the photographs was one of which looked like a massive sculpture of a human face. More recent images of the 'Face' taken by the Mars Global Surveyor clearly show that it was volcanic processes that brought the Face into existence and not a human or alien intelligence.

Pyramids on Mars

Numerous anomalous objects have been photographed in the Cydonia region of Mars. Southwest of the famous face is a group of features that have been described as resembling pyramids. With their relatively smooth, triangular sides, they bear a resemblance to the pyramids at Giza, Egypt. Similar geological formations exist on earth, so these Martian pyramids could be of natural origin.

Star City

The interesting formation seen below has been dubbed 'Star City'. It is a complex structure that some researchers interpret as showing walls of artificial construction. The structure is located on the Syrtis Major Planum region and is part of a large area of strange patterns and geometric objects.

According to mainstream geologists, the structures most probably have a natural origin. Indeed, just because a feature looks artificial in distant aerial photographs does not mean that in reality it is. Scientists are only beginning to understand Mars' climate, geology and environmental processes.

The Martian Tubes

Structures that look like long translucent tubes supported by rows of bright arches have been photographed on the surface of the red planet. It has been speculated by some that they could be huge water ducts funnelling water from one area to another. NASA scientists view these structures as some sort of natural geological anomaly.

Ancient flying craft

Many of the ancient libraries, such as the library at Alexandria and the vast libraries of ancient China were destroyed many centuries ago. Fortunately, however, ancient writings have survived. Compelling temple carvings at Abydos and Karnak (See: Mystery at Abydos), and ancient texts from India and Tibet, chronicle a bygone era when powered flight was highly advanced and even commonplace. They speak of a long-lost civilisation that was more advanced than our own. It was not a civilisation that existed three thousand years ago, but much further back in time; a civilisation that was suddenly wiped from the face of the Earth.

The Rama Empire

There is increasing evidence that the so-called 'Rama Empire' of Northern India and Pakistan is far older than had previously been supposed. Remnants of its large sophisticated cities are still to be found in the deserts of Pakistan, and in Northern and Western India. According to ancient Indian texts, the Empire of Rama possessed flying machines which were called 'Vimanas'. The texts on Vimanas are numerous, and highly detailed. They describe entire flight manuals on the control of the various types of Vimanas. Some were saucer shaped, others cigar shaped. The Vimanas appeared to be powered by some sort of anti-gravity device.

Do Vimanas still exist?

It is possible that knowledge of a previous highly advanced civilisation may have been preserved by ancient secret Brotherhoods. When Alexander the Great invaded India, over two thousand years ago, his scribes chronicled an attack by 'flying fiery shields' that panicked the horses. These flying vehicles did not deploy any weapons against the invading army, which marched on to conquer the country. It has been speculated in many books that secret Brotherhoods have preserved and maintained Vimanas for many thousands of years. They are alleged to keep them hidden in caverns and underground bases.

There is evidence that there are artificial constructions and areas on the Moon's surface that are being intentionally obscured from view due to image tampering by NASA and the US Air Force. Some of these structures have slipped through the censors net and are clearly visible on photographs taken by the Apollo missions and the Clementine satellite.

Technology has advanced considerably since the days of the Apollo missions. Computers and their software are now vastly more sophisticated. Features that were not evident on lunar photographs released to the public in the 1960s and 1970’s, and thus missed by the censors, can now be discerned using modern image analysis software. Detailed analysis of NASA photographs has revealed evidence of what appear to be ruins and artificial constructions of various types.

Ancient spaceship on the Moon?

Numerous myths and legends from different historical cultures and nations speak of a race of ‘gods’ that once inhabited the Earth. Could it be that constructions were created on the Moon by a highly advanced human civilisation that lived 12,000 years or more ago, before the catastrophic ending of the last ice age?

Below is an image taken from the Clementine satellite image browser at latitude -35 and longitude 208. Note that the obscured angular image is still partially visible. Is this a triangular spacecraft?

This object bears a striking resemblance to the cigar shaped Vimanas, or flying craft, described in ancient Indian texts. A news item a few years back reported that the Chinese had unearthed some ancient documents in Tibet. As they were written in the old language of Sanskrit they were sent off to an Indian university for translation. It was revealed that the documents contained instructions for building spacecraft. An antigravity device was used as the main source of propulsion.

Ancient aerial warfare

The Rama Empire apparently went to war with the fabled Atlanteans, or the Asvins, as the ancient Indian texts refer to them. The Vimana flying machines were circular craft with portholes and a dome much like a classic flying saucer, or they could be cigar shaped. Apparently the craft could take off vertically, could hover and were capable of flying at great speed.

Some of the texts mention the war that broke out between Rama and the Asvins. The Indians referred to the Asvin flying machines as ‘Vailixi’. The most common type of Vailixi were described as being cigar-shaped. Apparently they could fly in outer space, as well as travel underwater. They were used in warfare against the Rama Empire. The Atlantean flying machines were said to have been more technologically advanced than the Indian aircraft and could fire missiles and death rays.

Sudden death of a super civilisation

It is not that surprising that little evidence of ancient flying machines has survived. Could our advanced civilisation withstand a relentless series of huge earth quakes, horrendous volcanic eruptions, massive tidal waves and enormous rises in sea level? All of these things happened at the end of the last ice age. More than likely our civilisation would be obliterated and it would be many, many thousands of years before man again reached the level of technological development that we have achieved today.

Antigravity technology

A basic design for an antigravity engine has been detailed in a number of ancient Indian texts. The texts speak of mercury as being the critical component in the antigravity engine. An engineer who spent a great deal of time researching in this area was a man by the name of Bill Cledenon. He came up with a detailed design for a Vimana based on the ancient texts and his extensive knowledge of aeronautical engineering and electronics. The craft consisted of a circular air frame much like a classic flying saucer. Its primary component was an antigravity device. This was essentially a powerful electromagnetic field coil through which was passed a rapidly pulsating direct current.

The field coil was constructed from a closed circuit heat exchange/condenser unit containing mercury. The coil was positioned vertically in the centre of the craft. It was inserted inside a ring conductor (essentially a giant flat metal hoop with three equally spaced gyroscopes embedded in it). When the field coil was energised the ring conductor was instantly repelled from the Earth, propelling the craft into the air. In essence electromagnetism was being used to generate an antigravity effect. Using a computer to control the flow of the electric current the craft could be made to hover effortlessly in the air and accelerate up or down at enormous speeds. Forward propulsion was provided by an air-breathing turbo-pump propulsion system. Essentially the system liquefied air (which was stored in a series of tanks), which was then used as fuel by a gas turbine jet engine. Because the craft was weightless and almost frictionless in flight, it could travel at tremendous speeds.

There is hard visual evidence that there are artificial constructions and areas on the Moon's surface that are being intentionally obscured from view due to image tampering by NASA and the US Navy. It is only a matter of time now before the public at large finds out that the remnants of an ancient civilization, considerably more advanced than our own, have been discovered on the moon. Twenty first century missions to the Moon

The establishment of bases on the Moon and commercial exploration of the surface of the planet will soon be a reality. NASA intends to return to the Moon in 2014 with its new Orion spacecraft, while the construction of an actual manned lunar base is scheduled for 2019.

Russia’s booster rocket maker, Energia, has a more ambitious program; to build a permanent manned base on the Moon by 2015. Russia says that the base will be built to develop the industrial production of Helium-3. The non-radioactive isotope of Helium, Helium-3, is a powerful fuel that can be used in nuclear power generation. It is believed that only six tons of this fuel could provide enough energy to power a large European country for one year.

India's space program successfully launched its first lunar mission (Chandraayan) in October 2008, joining what is looking increasingly like a 21st century space race. Japan (Selene) and China (Changle) already have survey craft in orbit.

A meeting on future space exploration that was held in Athens in May 2007 identified detailed research of the Moon as one of the priority issues of the European space program.

NASA and the Moon

Both the Soviet and American lunar programs of the 1960’s and 1970’s were undertaken with a high level of secrecy, and only a portion of the information compiled was released to the public. NASA might be considered a civilian agency, but in reality most if its astronauts and other employees have to adhere to strict military security regulations. The majority of NASA’s activities are funded from the defense budget. NASA screens and stores all images from the Moon. Only carefully selected and censored images are open to the general public and only a small proportion of lunar material and samples are available for scrutiny.

So why the cover up? - Most probably because the US government has been trying to buy time. There are structures on the Moon built by a highly technologically advanced civilization. If word got out that these lunar structures existed, a new and vastly expensive space race would be triggered. The cover up has bought NASA and the US 30 years – but now the race is on! Has somebody spilled the beans? Or is this just the start of a new space age ‘gold rush’ for Helium 3? Either way, it is only a matter of time now, with so many nations getting involved in lunar exploration, before the cat is let out of the bag and the world is told - Somebody got to the Moon many thousands of years before us!

Amazing structures on the Moon

Looking at the old Apollo photographs and more recent pictures taken by satellite, ink spots and blurs can frequently be seen. NASA and the US military censors have carefully inspected every single photograph and have blurred some areas while applying black ink to others. What are they trying to hide?

Lunar enigmas

The Aristarchus crater enigma is one of numerous so-called transient lunar phenomena (TLP). It is one of the brightest lunar occurrences, which changes colour, sometimes producing a red or bluish glow, and appears to emit gas. In 1958, Aristarchus crater's strange phenomena were observed by Russian astronomer N. Kozyrev. They were also reported by the crew of Apollo 11. The nature of the crater phenomena has given credence to a theory that there could be some sort of a power device, possibly a fusion reactor, in the crater.

In 1968, a year before Neil Armstrong first stepped onto the Moon, a NASA catalogue of TLPs was published. The document featured almost 600 unexplained lunar phenomena, which had been observed since 1540. The catalogue included the 1871-1896 reports from England's Royal Astronomical Society of lighted geometrical images on the Moon. Later astronomers confirmed observations of oval moving lunar objects, and reports of bridge-like constructions in the lunar region called Mare Crisium.

Another lunar enigma is centred on Copernicus crater. The site appears to resemble an ancient strip mine. As there is no wind or free flowing water on the Moon, erosion of the lunar terrain cannot be involved in producing a landscape which resembles a vast mining operation site, with debris and rock piles and angled terraces. The topography of the Copernicus crater (see below), such as ridges and ramps, resemble those of strip mines seen on Earth.

The Shard

A strange object rising above the surface of the Moon was photographed by an Apollo mission. The object has a spindly geometrical shape and is about 1 mile in length. It is highly unlikely that the Shard is a natural phenomenon.

Other lunar anomalies

There are many more unexplained lunar anomalies. For example, in the upper part of Rima Hadley, not far from the place where Apollo-15 landed, a construction surrounded by a tall D-shaped wall was discovered. A transparent dome raised above a crater edge was apparently discovered near the Copernicus crater. Many structures in or close to craters have been deliberately obscured in lunar photographs.

Apollo-10 astronauts took a photo (AS10-32-4822) of a one-mile long object called ‘Castle’, which casts a distinct shadow on the lunar surface. The object seems to consist of several cylindrical units and a large conjunctive unit.

Former NASA scientists speak out

In March 1996 it was announced for the first time that artificial structures and objects had been discovered on the Moon. The briefing was given by former NASA scientists, engineers and other researchers, under the aegis of ‘The Mars Mission’, a grassroots space research and policy group of specialists and citizens. They stated that they were acting independently of NASA, and that their briefing had not been sanctioned by the space agency.

At the briefing in the National Press Club in Washington D.C. it was stated that, in addition to NASA, the Soviet Union had photographic evidence proving the presence of ancient ruins on the Moon. Video films and photos made by US astronauts during the Apollo program were shown at the briefing. Representatives of the media were extremely surprised as to why the materials had not been revealed to the public earlier. It was indicated that this was due to censorship by NASA.

These official mission films, analysed using scientific techniques and computer technologies unavailable to NASA 30 years ago (when the original photographs were taken), now provide compelling evidence for the presence of ancient artificial structures on the Moon.

Startling Apollo lunar allegations

The former manager of the Data and Photo Control Department at NASA’s Lunar Receiving Laboratory during the manned Apollo Lunar Program, Ken Johnston, has released a number of sensational statements recently in the USA. The specialist said that U.S. astronauts found ancient ruins of artificial origin when they landed on the Moon. He said that the U.S. government had been keeping this information a secret for 40 years.

Johnston's incredible allegations have recently appeared in a new book, ‘Dark Mission: the Secret History of NASA’, co-authored by former NASA consultant and CBS Science Advisor, Richard C. Hoagland and Mike Bara, an aerospace engineering consultant.

Towers on the Moon

Massive towers have also been discovered on the lunar surface. Below is an attempt by the NASA censors to smudge out one of these towers from an Apollo photograph.

Attempts to conceal the towers have not always been successful. As can be seen in the photograph below, a massive tower is clearly visible on a NASA photograph enhanced using modern image processing technology.

Ancient spaceship on the Moon?

An anomalous object was captured on film in 1971 by the Apollo 15 astronauts at an altitude of about 70 miles above the lunar surface as they passed over the ‘dark’ side of the moon. The image shown below is from the official Lunar and Planetary Institute’s Apollo Image Atlas AS15-P-9625.

This object bears a striking resemblance to the cigar shaped Vimanas, or ancient flying craft, described in ancient Indian texts.
